  5. Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
    • The team is currently receiving training in this exciting, evidenced-based therapy for young children with ASD. This model integrates a relationship-focused developmental model with behavioral techniques such as those found in ABA therapy.
  6. Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy
    • TCARD is working to add ABA therapy to our services in the near future.
  7. Family Navigation
    • Family Navigation services are available to any families seeking guidance, services, or support for themselves or a loved one with ASD. Appointments are available in-person or over the phone with TCARD's social worker and Family Navigator, Kathryn Wampold. The Family Navigator can help with referrals, connecting to resources, education, or just offering one-on-one support to families. Call the clinic or send an email to autism@tulane.edu to schedule."
  8. Parent Support Groups
    • TCARD provides support groups to offer a space for parents of children with ASD to meet and share their stories and experiences over coffee. Contact the clinic or sign up for our newsletter for more information on parent support groups.
  9. Community Trainings
    • TCARD offers trainings on ASD and related topics, such as managing difficult behaviors, creating an ASD-friendly environment, etc., to interested groups in the community including schools, businesses, and other organizations. Contact the clinic for more information and to schedule a training."
