The Facial Paralysis Unit is an interdepartmental service (Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology) created to improve the quality of life of those patients who have facial paralysis after trauma, oncologic surgery, unknown etiology, etc. The multidisciplinary conference meets monthly to evaluate and discuss patient treatment options. Facial reanimation surgery and other surgical techniques will be offered to patients who seek to improve the functional and aesthetic results after facial paralysis.
