Peripheral Nerve Surgery Program
Our surgeons have received specialized fellowship training at world-renowned centers in the treatment of peripheral nerve reconstruction and offer treatments for conditions encompassing the entire peripheral nervous system such as:
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Ulnar compression
- Brachial plexus and other traumatic injuries
- Schwannomas and neurofibromas
Upon presentation our patients will receive a full multimodal evaluation with MRI, EMG, and nerve conduction studies as appropriate. After the results of these tests are integrated with the clinical examination treatment will be tailored to the patients particular pathology.
Our surgeons are also working on furthering therapeutic options for patients by conducting research on nerve regeneration in a translational laboratory.
